Her birthplace was Santa Monica, California on the 26th of November 1986. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo and maternal grandmother Valerie Barba. Her family relocated from Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. The school she attended was Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. Then she attended Catholic University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in architecture. She also played the violin since the age four and was referred to as the Violin Lady. Her performances led to being called Violin Girl. Also, she taught children in the area how to play the violin. She performed Free beginning in 1976 during the auditions for the sixth season of American Idol when she was age 19. The singer was then removed from the show following her achievement of the 16th spot. She performed a number of songs like 'The Christmas Song in 2009' and "Out for Blood" 2010 among others. She's also been featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and various other television shows. Antonella Barba was an American singing sensation who became famous after competing in American Idol's sixth season.
