Chando lives in New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College before becoming an actress. Chando was the first Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World turns. She played this role between 2005 and 2007 and then again, for several months in 2009 at the end. Alexandra made her debut in 2002 on House Blend as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns, a CBS-aired American soap opera, ran for three seasons. Alexandra was the character Maddie Coleman. Then in 2009 Chando appeared in American documentary television series True life and further appeared in the TV series, Sherri. The actress was featured in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) in the role of Annabelle. The other TV credits she has are Castle, Hindsight Dead People as well as Outcast.
